With a lean team sharing a deep passion for sustainability and surface technology, this visionary entrepreneur laid the foundation for what would become a global force. Today, IGL Coatings stands as a global leader in eco-conscious sustainable coatings, celebrating its 10 years of innovation, resilience, and meaningful partnerships.
To mark this milestone, IGL Coatings unveils its global relaunch of EZ, Shield, and introducing the newly formulated Window Coating. Why a relaunch? Window is the first coating that was formulated and sold, 10 years ago by its founder, Keong! The trio is now reformulated introducing Graphene Infinite, an exclusive next-generation dispersion developed in collaboration with advanced material science leaders.
“Ten years ago, we didn’t have much, but we had a vision,” said Keong Chun Chieh, founder and CEO of IGL Coatings.
“We wanted to challenge an industry that was slow to change. We believed eco-friendly products could still outperform traditional ones. A belief that has carried us to where we are today. Along the way, we continue to work with small and medium businesses, as well as working together with multinational companies towards global improvements. We’ve learned, adapted, and grown. Marking its milestone, IGL Coatings hosted its Distributor Summit at its headquarters in Malaysia. The event brought together exclusive partners from Australia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Norway, India, and Bangladesh for hands-on testing of upcoming innovations and products.
Distributors had the opportunity to experience the latest technologies, interact directly with the R&D team, and deepen their understanding of the science behind each product, getting hands on experience with the manufacturing and development processes.

As part of the 10-year celebration, IGL Coatings teased its new and improved lineup that is set to launch on the 31st of July 2025:
- EZ
A one-step, all-surface ceramic coating built for ease of use and high durability. Designed for professionals and beginners alike.
- Shield
A performance ceramic coating for paint protection films, wraps, and plastics. Offers UV protection, fade resistance, and improved water repellency.
- Window
A glass coating designed to endure heavy weather and deliver up to 12 months of crystal-clear, hydrophobic protection.
