Nov 25, 2021 – APDN 2020 was held by the Malaysian Government though the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP). A star studded event known as the Domestic Trade Awards of Malaysia, recognises and awards the contributions by industry leaders for the year 2020.

KLCC Convention Center played host to the Domestic Trade Awards 2020 (APDN 2020). Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob officiated the prestigious event. Also in attendance, the Minster of Domestic Trade, Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.

The Malaysian Prime Minster in his opening speech highlighted the importance of digitalization. Adding that it is a key agenda of the Ministry and the future focus of the Malaysian Government.

Awards Recognises Top Industry Leaders In 23 Categories at APDN 2020

The event recognises and awards top industry leaders in 23 categories for APDN 2020 in Malaysia. The categories include – Small and Medium Enterprises, Fair Priced Shops, Franchises, Direct Sales, Retail, E-Commerce, Media and Petrol Stations.

Ominent Sdn Bhd (IGL Coatings) receives the nomination of best marketplace seller on E-commerce award. IGL was among 2 other nominees for the category for the night.

Other top category winners included Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (Mydin) for promotion of Malaysian products, Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd (Shell Malaysia), Parkson Corporation Sdn Bhd (Parkson) and Ecart Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Lazada Malaysia) for E-commerce platform in Malaysia.
